Physical description

Bowl, buff stoneware painted in underglaze brown.
With sides rounded below and spreading at the lip; rather square-cut foot.
Painted inside on the bottom with a chrysanthemum spray and below the rim with a tendril scroll; a sketchy running scroll on the outside. The pigment varies between brown and bluish-grey and the glaze is gummy and crazed. The base has a dark brown dressing, and there are about five spur-marks inside.
