Millinery head consisting of a hand-painted face with blue eyes and red lips. The back and sides of the head is composed of a stuffed leather hood. The head is made of moulded papier maché or wood with applied and painted features. The base is painted blue with a dress frill and black border. There is an opening at the back of the base. There are two holes in the front which may not be original. The back of the head is covered with white kid, slightly padded.
