Physical description

Set of five dishes. Wood, decorated in black and gold lacquer.
Of waisted outline, made from two lathe-turned plates cut and fitted together. With recessed base, curved sides and everted lip. Black-lacquered all over with a gold hiramakie design of two or three rice plants on the interior of the sides at the waist.
