Obv.: Bust of Queen Victoria to left, crowned, surrounded by a border or rose, thistle and shamrock. Rev.: IT GIVES ME THE GREATEST SATISFACTION TO DEDICATE THIS BEAUTIFUL FOREST FOR THE USE AND ENJOYEMENT OF MY PEOPLE FOR ALL TIME. EPPING FORREST. 6 MAY 1882. Queen Victoria seated at the entrance to Epping Forest; at the left a female figure representing the City of London grasping a broken barrier. |
