Medal, bronze, struck from a die, commemorating the visit of the King of Sardinia to the City of London, 4th December 1855. Obv: VICTORIUS EMMANUEL II REX SARDINIAE IN LONDINIUM A PRAESIDE CIVIBUSQUE RECEPTUS. Bust to left. Rev.; LIBERI LIBERIS GRATULANTUR SOCIIS DEC. 4 1855. A group of female figures representing London and Britannia greeting Sardinia. In the exergue, the arms of the City of London with motto DOMINE DIRIGE NOS.
