Jar, porcelain painted in underglaze blue. It is squat with a broad, square shoulder, narrow mouth with an upturned rim, and a slight foot-ring. The body is divided into "melon-shaped" segments by vertical grooves. Radiating from the mouth are painted sunflower petals over the shoulder, and round the sides is a frieze of stylised foliage and flowers. The blue pigment has gone greyish in the kiln and has formed into brown spots where thick.

Physical description
Jar, porcelain painted in underglaze blue. It is squat with a broad, square shoulder, narrow mouth with an upturned rim, and a slight foot-ring.
