Bowl/cup of ogee form with four loop handles. the rim is painted in black with the words "Successto the Wiltshire Yeomanry". On the outside between the handles are the following devices: (1) an urn-shaped vase of flowers with fruit lying near it, stipple-painted in brown and painted over in colours; (2) a black print of a wheatsheaf on a medallion, surrounded by a band inscribed "IN GOD IS OUR TRUST.THE FARMER'S ARMS" within three smaller medallions, containing implements of agriculture and separated by the verses:

"Let the Wealthy and Great,
Roll in Splendour and State,
I envy the not I declare it,
I eat my own Lamb,
My own Chicken and ham,
I shear my own Fleece & I wear it,
I have Lawns, I have Bow'rs,
I have Fruit, I have Flowr's,
The Lark is my morning alarmer,
So jolly Boys now,
Here's God speed the Plough,
Long Life, & success to
the FARMER"

Above this is a plough with the the words: "He that by the plough would thrive/Himself must either/Hold or Drive/God Speed the Plough"

(3) No.1 repeated; (4) The verses of No.2 repeated within a border composed of emblems of agriculture, a cask, ale-bottle glass and scrollwork painted in black. the print of the vase of tflowers is repated on the inside base, without colouring.
