Object history
From a collection of 88 drawings of scenery for Charles Kean's productions of Shakespearian and other plays, probably at the Princess's Theatre London, 1848-1859. Record copies made for the producer, possibly by a member of the Grieve Family after the original designs by F Lloyds. This design is for 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' which was first produced on 15th October 1856.
