Group of a highland boy and girl. The girl is standing to the right, her hand resting upon the post of a fence at the foot of which the boy is reclining, fondling a dog. Both are wearing white; the girl has a long scarf and holds a feathered hat in her left hand; she has reddish hair; the boy wears a kilt and has black hair. The fence and dresses are spotted with gilt. Scolled base picked out in gilt.
