This silver medal commemorates the passing of the Reform Act of 1832. On the obverse there is a female figure receiving the REFORM Act from the hand of Britannia to place with MAGNA CHARTA and the BILL OF RIGHTS. Behind, a tablet bearing the names GREY, BROUGHAM, ALTHORP, RUSSELL, surmounted by a medallion with a portrait of WILLIAM THE FORTH. In the exergue 2nd & 3rd WILLIAM IV. On the reverse the inscription reads, REFORM IN THE REPRESENTATION OF THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMONS HOUSE OF PARLIAMENT 1832, and there is a wreath of rose, thistle and shamrock, with a crown above and the shield of arms of the City of London below.
