Object history | Part of an outfit (T.218 to 227-1994) representing a high fashion equivalent of the "Grunge" look, comprising multiple layers of separates. A checked wool jacket is worn over a cotton & spandex T-shirt and a knitted wool ribbed cardigan; another cardigan in a Fair Isle style design in browns and cream is draped around the waist.A wrap skirt in deep burgundy printed crepe is worn over white cotton leggings and two pairs of knitted wool socks in brown. Boots with thick soles in a heavy brown "worn" leather and a cap of deep burgundy-brown wool with a "worn" leather peak complete the ensemble. Registered File number 1994/548. |
