Ladies hat of black faux-fur felt. The small percher, also known as a doll hat, has a flaring, trumpet-shaped, high crown with a teardrop-shaped brim, narrow except at the back where it curves to fit the back of the head. Trimmed at the front with three large red-feather flowers, with green-feather leaves. There is a small felt bow at the centre back and on the left side is a clump of black osprey feathers. The brim is wired to shape and bound inside the crown with black grosgrain. There is an elastic to keep it in place.

Ladies hat of black faux-fur felt.
