This is a design for a mass-produced armchair by Leslie Dandy (1923-), creator of the highly successful G-Plan domestic furniture range in postwar Britain. Destined for office rather than for home use, it was created in 1982 as one of Dandy's last designs for the G-Plan manufacturers, E.Gomme and Sons based in High Wycombe. By then the company was serving the corporate market rather than the individual consumer.
