Herold with shipping scenes of merchants and their wares by a quayside or riverbank, within a shaped gilt scrollwork cartouche embellished with iron-red and purple scrollwork, and the rims inside have four similar rectangular vignettes in purple camaïeu against a gilt border of continuous floral scrollwork.

Tea bowl and saucer of porcelain, each finely painted in the manner of C.F. Herold with shipping scenes of merchants and their wares by a quayside or riverbank, within a shaped gilt scrollwork cartouche embellished with iron-red and purple scrollwork, and the rims inside have four similar rectangular vignettes in purple camaïeu against a gilt border of continuous floral scrollwork.
