This egg-shaped ceramic sculpture has raised, smooth areas amidst a textured background where the colours are mottled with black. Born in Korea, Bae Jin-hwan has lived and studied in the United States, and is known for multi-coloured sculptural forms. This piece was donated to the V&A in 1994 as part of a group of contemporary Korean studio pots selected by Professor Shin Sang Ho.
