Object history
The enamelling in brown was carried out at the factory, but the inscription and details in polychrome enamels were added in the Netherlands.
Production
The border patterns were added at Wedgwood's factory, but the inscription and probably also the enamel painting on the cover finial were added in Amsterdam.
