Strips of mercerized cotton and lengths of wool thread woven into linen, possibly jute, warp. Colours used are blue, black, purple, pink, red, brown, yellow, green, orange, rust and grey.
At the top and bottom of the piece there is a 13cm long fringe of warp ends secured by four rows of knotting.
