Registered File number 1993/2220, Streetstyle exhibition 1994-1995, in the exhibition it was part of an outfit called 'Punk UK 1976' (includes the trousers T.405-1995 and the jacket T.407-1995).

Phillip Sallon was a punk style leader who combined personalised items with his Westwood/McLaren clothes, such as this customised string vest. He wore this with heavy black eye make-up and a "horned" hairstyle that he likened to a Viking helmet or devil horns.
