This large jar has an upright rim and a warped body which is painted in underglaze cobalt blue with a dynamic design of a giraffe and a tiger chasing each other through the clouds. The depiction of the qilin resembling a tiger is noteworthy. The main design is framed between two ruyi bands. The jar, which is covered in a bluish-white glaze, was produced at an official kiln in Bunwon-ri, Gwangju, in the late 18th century.

The jar has sagged during firing. It is painted with a tiger and a lion-like creature among clouds. The shoulder and the base each has a band of cloud scrolls.
