Beves which was bequeathed to the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge in 1961. Selected duplicated items from the collection were sold on behalf of the museum by Sotheby's, 11 November, 1964. This glass, known as 'The Beves' was lot 152. It was sold again by Sotheby's 6 June, 1984, lot 161 when it was bought by the museum.
