The cup is of an elongated oval shape, with an inwardly curving mouth. It is covered with a celadon glaze. The interior is plain while the exterior is decorated with five chrysanthemum sprays in white and black sanggam inlay and a border of squared spirals in white. There are gold lacquer repairs at the foot and mouth. The glaze forms into lumps on the exterior. On the partially glazed footring are three spur marks.
