The bowl is decorated with white and black inlaid decoration and covered with a brownish green celadon glaze. The interior has a pair of fish in the well surrounded by a band of cloud motifs, the sides carries four pairs of fish within double circles below a wave border. The exterior bears four chrysanthemum sprays within double circles on the sides, overlapping lotus petals near the foot and a wave border near the rim. Part of the glaze has turned brownish and crackled. There is a gold lacquer repair at the rim.
