Presentation designs for a silver cup and cover. Inscribed in pencil 'Design for a Silver cup with cover, suggesting a subject, "Apollo and the Muses" for a table piece for "The Societi of the Ditellanti [sic]" The body is devided [sic] into nice facets with a 'cat card' figure of a Muse applied to each facet. The cover is circular with a modelled figure of Apollo at the top reclining in the centre of the Sun's rays. The stem is circular, standing upon a nine angled foot. Signed in wash 'Charles Sykes'.
