Dazed & Confused, 1995
A waif-like model ravenously bites into a bar of chocolate. Bulldog clips cinch a glittering red blouse to fit her slender frame. With unconventional images like this, Rankin undermined the glossy artifice of the fashion world and brought issues such as eating disorders to the fore.
