Kendi of fritware, painted in blue with black outline under a clear glaze. A reserved scroll runs round the flattened rim with flowers and birds around the neck. A band of ruyi heads covers the shoulder with a petal border above five panels. Two are filled with a deer by a fence under a cloud. Two others contain a flower composition. The spout is underlined by a ribbon with rosette and tassel. Date on the bottom, under the glaze, 1051 A.H. (A.D. 1641).
