This is one of two similar prints in the V&A collection (E.191-2008 and E.106-2008), produced from a computer drawing by the Argentinian artist Gregorio Dujovny (1925-1990). The original image was entitled El Tango, and was included in a touring exhibition entitled Arte y cibernética (or Art and cybernetics), first held in 1970.
The V&A's two images were donated to the Museum by the Computer Arts Society. They may have been shown at one or more exhibitions organised by CAS and held in the UK in the early 1970s.
