Physical description

Plate of fritware, painted in bluish-black under a clear glaze. The central medallion depicts a lion in front of a pine tree, surrounded by leaf sprays. Round the flange are seven medallions, each with a floret, on a diapered ground. Mark of a simulated Chinese character in black.
