Rectangular b&w Nabeshima dish with fluted indented corners to take a flat stencil. (see Finch, Konabeshima, Fig 1n). High comb foot.
Back with two symmetrical sprays of late-style, simplified peony leaves. Design with stencilled areas in two shades of blue, representing clouds and hills. Foreground has little freehand symbols like corn stooks.
