The image of a roman procession is taken from a set of twelve woodcuts, published in Venice in 1504, illustrating the Triumph of Ceasar. The woodcuts are by Jacob of Strasbourg, aftyer designs by Benedetto Bordon of Padua. Another dish from the set, marked 'H' on the front, is in the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge.
