The bowl is covered with a celadon glaze, the body of which is a buff colour instead of grey. The interior is decorated in white inlay with a pair of birds within double circles in the well, pomegranates on undulating branches on the sides and a scroll border near the mouth. The exterior has leafy patterns divided by four chrysanthemums within double circles topped with a grass border.
