The dish has a flat base and no footring. It is decorated with white and black inlaid decoration and is covered with a crackled, greyish green celadon glaze. The exterior has a square spiral border, while the interior has a chrysanthemum spray within a double circle on the centre and six floral sprays on the sides. (It forms a pair with C.566, but the outlines are sharper).
