One side is painted in blue with a strapwork cartouche inscribed O:AMYGD:D: surmounted by a basket of fruit, flanked by birds and branches with a winged cupid's head below with tassels and two swags of fruit and flowers. The back is inscribed W N 1763 beneath the spout.
Body colour: Buff
Glaze: Bluish white. Foot-rim wiped entirely clean of glaze.
Shape: The trumpet-shaped foot is hollow, luted separately onto the body. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
