Plate of tin-glazed earthenware, painted. A bamboo with a fence, rocks, flowers and leaves within a border of geometric decoration and ju-i lappets in blue, yellow, red and green. Across the middle of the back within the foot-rim is the inscription David Roberts/1783 in blue. Buff body colour with greenish white glaze, pooling on the back and much crazed. Shape M.
