A seated Chinese figure flanked by fences with bushes and foliage in blue.
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Bluish white and running and pooling extensively below the rim and on the foot.
Shape: The lid is attached to the bowl and has a central hole and twelve smaller ones. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
