Tin-glazed earthenware punch bowl, painted in blue. The interior has a satirical coat of arms in the form of a parchment with five pendant seals, representing the shield, inscribed at the top, "Noverint Universi". On it are charges of a scene showing a lawyer seated at a desk accepting money bags from two men in front and behind him. Below is a book (Coke upon Littleton), three rolled scrolls and three circular coins or seals. On either side are two supporters in the form of men standing respectively on a plough and a harrow. The crest is in the form of a fox in lawyer's robes with below, the upper part of a mace. The mantling is in the form of indentures and scrolling parchments with seals inscribed with various legal phrases and expressions in Latin on the left and in English on the right. Below is the motto "DUM VIVO THRIVO" and the inscription "THE LAWYERS COAT OF ARMS".
