A figure standing in a landscape with a hillock, trees and a building with a tower within a border of repeating foliate, diaper and scale motifs in blue. The back has four herbal sprigs on the flange and a pseudo-Chinese mark in the centre in blue.
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Bluish white, pooling on the flange on the back. Biscuit exposed at one place near the rim on the back. Many small white dots in the glaze, particularly visible in painted areas.
Shape: Shape M. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)

Physical description
