The interior has a portrait in blue of the Duke of Cumberland within a cartouche surrounded by a trophy of arms below which is the inscription: William the Princely Youth with Transport see/ He chains th'Oppressor sets the Oppressed Free/ Hail Friend of Albion and of Liberty ! The rim is in reddish brown.
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Bluish white, pooling within the foot-rim. Many small white dots in the glaze, particularly visible on painted areas.

Delftware bowl with painted decoration depicting the Duke of Cumberland with hunting scene and inscription, probably Liverpool or London, ca. 1745-1750.
Physical description
