The Temptation of Adam and Eve painted and sponged in blue, yellow, bluish green and red. Blue dashes and greenish blue lines at the rim. Sgraffito decoration on the leaves held by Adam and Eve. Three stilt marks on the front (10.2 cms point to point).
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Shiny white on the front. A similar glaze on the back with a few dribbles. A single adhesion like a peg-mark on the back of the rim. The foot-rim has been wiped entirely clean of glaze.
Shape: Shape B but deeper and without a groove at the rim. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
