Tulips, a lily, another flower, buds and leaves grow from a low mound painted in blue, yellow, ochre and turquoise green. Three stilt marks on the front (7 cms point to point).
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: White. Clear lead-glaze containing streaks and areas of tin over a pale slip covers the entire back. The foot-rim has probably been partially wiped clean of glaze.
Shape: Shape B with undercut foot and no groove near rim, which is more pronounced and everted. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
