Bowl of fritware, painted in cobalt blue under a clear glaze. A heavy double line surrounds the outer rim above a series of four reserved-painted lobed lozenges which enclose cranes with striped wings amidst floret and clouds. The intervals are filled up with cloud scrolls. The inner rim band contains scrolling foliage with eight florets. A double circle at the well encloses the same crane in lobed lozenge design and surrounding by six clouds. Imitation Chinese "tassel" mark in blue.
