Dish. Central motifs in alternating strokes of yellow and blue. Outer border of alternating manganese-purple and blue motifs between concentric rings in blue. Band on rim is pale turquoise. A partial circle of glaze removed at the centre by the foot of the dish fired with it. Two stilt marks on the front (9.3 cms point to point).
Body colour: Mid buff.
Glaze: White. A clear lead-glaze over a pale slip and a bluish grey tin-glaze, which has crawled in places, covers the entire back. The foot-rim has been partially wiped clean of glaze.
Shape: Shape B with the well becoming much steeper near the rim which is wider and without a groove. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
