'5. Figure: 'Kärleksgudinna' 1986 The use of glass as a sculptural medium is a predominantly 20th-century development. But the subject matter of this piece springs from one of the most traditional sources: folklore. Its name translates as 'Lovelady', and the maker describes the figure as having 'a nasty smile - between the smile of a madonna and a witch'.
