Tulips, carnations, spiral buds and flat leaves grow from a low mound, painted in blue, bluish green, yellow and red. Blue dashes and lines at the rim. A partial circle of glaze removed at the centre by the foot of the dish fired with it. Three stilt marks on the front (8.5/9 cms point to point).
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Shiny white on the front. A greyish tin-glaze which has dribbled and pooled over a pale slip covers the entire back. A small diamond shape painted in blue within the foot-rim which has been wiped almost entirely clean of glaze.
Shape: Shape A with more rounded well, a narrower, steeper flange and thicker, flatter foot-rim. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
