Mug of tin-glazed earthenware, painted. The outside only is splashed with white tin-glaze, including the outside of the handle. Body colour: Buff. Glaze: Strong mid blue on exterior, interior and underside except for area around edge of base which is wiped clean of glaze.
Shape: Handle flat on inside and outside with a flattened rolled terminal. Slightly concave on underside. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
