Posset pot, its decoration includes two entwined snakes attached to each of the handles while another crawls up the spout. The heads of two of the serpents are missing and the two others have lost their tongues. The feet of the pot are in the form of three birds. The body is painted with flowers and birds. The underside is inscribed H/ H K/ 1696. All the decoration is in blue, and the body colour is buff.

The glaze is bluish white, perhaps with a kwaart. The underside of the feet are unglazed. The handles are made of two joined rolls of clay. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
