Drug jar of tin-glazed earthenware. One side has a strapwork cartouche inscribed TEN: VENET. surmounted by a shell flanked by two winged cupids. Below is a winged cupid's head flanked by floral swags. All the decoration is in blue. The centre of the underside is painted with an X in blue.
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Bluish white. Foot-rim wiped almost entirely clean of glaze. The underside has a white glaze which appears to have been largely covered with a bluish glaze.
Shape: Concave on underside.
