Drug jar of tin-glazed earthenware, painted. Stripes, v-shapes, semi-circles and stepped pyramids in blue and ochre. Body colour: Pale buff. Glaze: Greyish white with numerous black specks probably under a much crazed lead-glaze. Much discoloured by fire or burial. Underside almost entirely unglazed.
Shape: Very slightly concave on underside. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)

Drug jar of tin-glazed earthenware, painted. Stripes, v-shapes, semi-circles and stepped pyramids in blue and ochre. Body colour: Pale buff.
