Physical description
Two figures in a landscape with sponged trees and a building in manganese-purple.
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Pinkish white, pooling and dribbling on the flange on the back and much crazed. A few pin-holes back and front.
Shape: Shape E with shorter well and slightly steeper flange. Two holes, 3 cms apart, pierced through the foot-rim before firing. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
