Tin-glazed earthenware wine bottle, inscribed in blue "CLARET/ 1647" with a paraph below. Globular form with short neck, splayed foot, slightly concave on underside, a handle rounded on inside and exterior with V-shaped lower terminal, connecting the upper neck to the shoulder. Buff earthenware body with white glaze, underside unglazed.
