One side has a strapwork cartouche inscribed EX:CORTIC: surmounted by a shell flanked by two winged cupids. Below is a winged cupid's head flanked by floral swags. All the decoration is in blue.
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Greyish white, lumpy and much crazed. Outer part of base wiped partially clean of glaze.
Shape: Concave on underside. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
